Max is a commercial real estate broker for her own independent firm Mandelis LLC and an associate broker at Transwestern. Since 1997 she has been focused on leasing, sales and development in urban Atlanta including Downtown, Midtown, the Westside, O4W & Inman Park, representing businesses seeking creative space. Max is experienced with adaptive reuse and innovative ventures. She has a weakness for historic buildings and owns a little gem in the Centennial Park District.
Efrosini Mandelis grew up in Syracuse, New York, born to immigrants from the island of Kefalonia in Greece. In her youth, she was curious, quiet, spacey and resourceful. When registering for school, they changed her name to Francine, which she never liked so when her basketball team gave her the nickname “Max," she embraced it.
During her senior year in college, she met Nicholas White and the following summer, they had a big fat Greek wedding. Max & Nick relocated from Boston to Atlanta in 1995, building a community and a good life here. While their time as a couple is complete, they remain family, sharing custody of their rescue dog and working together.
Max enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, hugging trees, loving on animals, eating well, connecting with friends and walking in the sunlight of the spirit. She lives in Ansley Park and usually gets around town by bicycle.

Since 1998, Max had been working as an agent for the owner of 330 Marietta Street until one day in 2008 when he said, "you think this building has so much potential, why don't you buy it?" So she did, adding modern infrastructure including an elevator and rooftop deck while restoring its historic character. It is occupied by Southern Patio and Terminus 330.

Max purchased 790 Marietta Street in 1999. The property had terrific bones, but was boarded up and covered in concrete. She exposed it inside and out. The property now houses BrightHouse advertising and Pink magazine.
